Hi Guys,

Yamaha will be at my store AudioworksCT February 11th, doing a demo and live Q&A streaming event at 11:00 am eastern time. If there are any questions you can send them to AudioworksCT facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/AudioworksCT/ and I will get them answered during the stream with examples if needed. They will also do the same for the Montage at 3:00 pm Eastern.

Doing the demo is Heratch, which some of you already know, here is his bio

Heratch Touresian is a Technical Sales Specialist with Yamaha’s Pro Music division. With more than 15 years of experience within Yamaha, he is considered an industry expert in digital music, DAW, electronic drums, and recording. He’s also a busy southern California-based entertainer, and holds programming credits for Stevie Wonder’s “So What’s the Fuss”, and has scored for several short films.
To that effect, Heratch is a Genos and Montage guru. He uses the Genos to its full potential, as a live performance instrument with his band and is the studio as the ultimate songwriting instrument, and possesses deep technical knowledge regarding Montage, using the vast flash ROM memory to create his personal sounds and the 32-channel interface as the centerpiece of his production studio.
He also enjoys conducting seminars for consumers and Yamaha dealers on the practical applications of arrangers, digital pianos, and synthesizers. Meeting him is a great opportunity for you to access his vast technical Genos and Montage knowledge, and he is looking forward to answering your questions.

Hi Frank, I sent you an email but I thought I’d post this here too.

Besides improving the VH, I wish Yamaha would include a chord sequencer/looper like KORG has. That’s about all that is holding me back from buying a new Yamaha....

Tony what I mean is do a singing demo at full performance vol levels
with music style playing with VH2 trio on to see how it tracks as Yamaha is known for drop offs...

I’d love to see a demo of the Genos creating a 8 bar multi midi track... one track at a time using Cubasis 2 on an iPad. I know the multi record can be done on the Genos but the workflow is a tad cumbersome. Since Yamaha says everyone does midi sequencing in a DAW, I’d love to see it done efficiently with the touch commands on an iPad hooked up to the Genos. How can you select sounds in the Genos without doing patch changes. Select a sound and arm a track... record an idea... select another sound on track 2... hit record and lay down the next track.

Thanks!!
