We saw the movie “The Mule” today. During some of the movie they played the tune “More Today and Yesterday” both the Charles Earland organ version and the original by Spiral Staircase. Chas the Charles Earland version reminded me the rendition you posted of it about a year ago. Now I know where you got your inrpsiration to play and record that tune. As soon as I heard the first few notes, I thought reminds me of Chas’s version. Arturo Sandoval did the soundtrack for the album from the movie.

Steve ... Coincidentally, while driving to a gig a couple of days ago, I was listening to 'Real Jazz' on Sirius radio, and heard the Charles Earland version, and the first person I thought of was chas ...

PS hope you are enjoying the Florida sun ... it's been sunny in RI but temps just getting to 30F during the day ...

That’s a great tune for sure.

Yes we are enjoying the Florida sun! Temps have been real nice. Looks like you guys are dodging the big snow storm that’s headed east.

We saw the movie to the other day too and also thought of Chaz remembering his cool rendition.
