I am playing a nyckelharpa, an ancient Swedish instrument
It started to storm when I played
Ramund has around 20 verses, and there are different versions written down. It is mainly about Ramund, a man who goes to battle with the Jætter / trolls and then sails to the emperor to take his daughter to marry and then decapitates the emperor....

I love this kind of video's with old and new instruments not many know,..

On top of that, the old ballads really have some interesting stories to tell

I wonder exactly how old that instrument is? Then I have to wonder how long it took her to learn to play it?
