Sounds like a Ketron !
Maybe they bought their samples from the same creator?

I once had a WS2! Thought it played like a dream but it sounded like an ass...
And i played the Genesys once, it stood next to the Tyros and KN-7000 and well, i seriously don't know what the fuss was about? I thought it sounded worst of the bunch, but it was more expensive than the KN-7000..

Rumors still float around that most of the Audya design comes from GEM and miraculously fall in the hands of Ketron after GEM's fall.

I've played a WS2 as a 'couple of days' test, probably back in the 90's sometime...
Sadly for GEM, I had a KN beside it, and excuse me for say so, but at that time GEM did sound quite 'Casioish' compared to the KN.
Never had the chance to try Genesys, but as far as I remember, itwas many good comments about it.
I've also heard, or maybe read, that there was a connection between Gem and Ketron.
Looking at Genesys design, lot of similiarity to SD buttons, layout and so on. Screen look a bit Audya?
Btw, button also placed very similiar as Korg.... Guess they all are Italian?

You may not know it, or remember it, but for a short time back in the early 90's, GEM built some arrangers with the Peavey brand on them. My friend at Peavey used to get me everything to try out or test for them, so he brought one. At the time I think I was still playing Technics, and this one didn't hold up to it. It was very heavy, as I recall, but that didn't matter as much back then. I kept it a few weeks and gave it back to him.
As a side note, we played golf one day, and he left to go to the next dealer on his list, and he died that night in a motel from a heart attack.
