Hello to all,

in the DSP menu there is the last point equalizer.
There is no difference between on and off.
Is it not for main mastering ?
Must this be turned on in another menu ?

I play a style and there is no sound change.
Is this equalizer only for another sound ?

You can save while smf is playing,so make your settings while smf plays and save it during playing.

The EQ works for all sound (audio, styles, midi, audio from video ... etc) generated either by the SD40 or played by the SD40.

If the EQ band is flat (no increase or reduction of gain in any frequency as is the DEFAULT setting), then yes, turning it off and on makes no difference because when it is ON, it is not doing anything. The EQ works only when you make changes to the FLAT EQ curve ... increase or decrease the gain of particular frequencies or pick any of the FACTORY Presets (LOUD, WARM, JAZZ CLUB, BRIGHT, POP or BOOST ... etc) which are preset curves.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Thnaks for the answer.
I test the SD40 with earphones...
so the Equalizer doesn't work.
I asked at Ketron and they said that it is only for
use without earphones.

Many greetings,

Roland
