Sometimes when I try to load a file from the Sd card in the kn7000 I get this message :
"using sd format will erasy any current data on the sd" and I even didn't push the format buttom.
I just pushed the yellow Sd load buttom and then load.
When I exit and do this again the problem has gone.
I had this several times in one week.

HI ALL:

Just bought a new computer and I want to see if everything works ok.
I tried this before and had some problems.

Hope all is well on this one.

Alex, Congrats on the new puter. It seems to be working well enough to post on the forum. NOW, let us see if it is working well enough for you to send me your next Song file to forward to our KN7 Members
I will be watching the mail of over 100 per day!
Best to you and yours

Alain, this happens to me sometimes on my kn6000, too. When I'm doing a "save" with Technics format, it will sometimes pop up with a regular format query. Just backtrack and start over. It always solves the problem, so it must be one of those strange things that happen with computerized gizmos.

Alain;

This has never happened in my Kn7000. Perhaps it is a function of the type of SD card that you are using. Is it a Panasonic or some other brand?

Hi,
I think it's your sd card.
I have a few of them. Sanddisk, Panasonic and a couple of other brands. (I use them for my computers as backup for other things as well)
I noticed one of my Sandisks does the same thing. It started doing it a few weeks after I started using it in the kn7. I found that if I unplugged it, and plugged it back into the kn7, the keyboard would recognize it again. I also put the write protect switch to ON when I wasn't saving, to avoid accidently formatting the card.
If you accidently press "Yes" to that message , you will erase your card, I did it, but fortunately I had it backed up in my computer.

best wishes
Rikki
