After several jobs and trying the DBRs, I have to submit back to the QSCK10s. A world of difference. A 'duh' moment too - manually hoisting the QSCs up high is actually easier with the side handles - duh, again.

So, for now.........4X and QSC - no turning back - lots of work to do!

Wat to go, Zuki! A K10 is better than a DBR10. The DXR10 is the comparable speaker. But... everyone’s ears are different. Use what you like... or what you got!

Enjoy that Pa4X!!!

You definitely have high demands to the PA you‘re using, if even the DBR10 don‘t meet your expectations (which is ok of course).
Regarding the Bose S1 Pro, which you didn‘t like, I think a pair of them would be very nice for my needs (church and sometimes small private parties), but just not for a price of 1,150 Euros.
I am thinking about buying a HK Nano 600 again, now available for 780€ in Germany.

Went back to the QSCs today. Very easy to lift and wow, what a difference. What was I thinking?

BTW, I'm using a dual pole mount and air assisted pole. I put these speakers behind me, about even with top of head - this will cover 99% of my rooms and it sounds spectacular, in stereo. The mount is only 21" long, but I have a 41" on order, so the separation will be even better.

ZUKI do you ever feel it's overkill just for a 1hr NH gig..
in & out setting up etc..?

Takes 10 minutes. I have everything in sleeves and easy hookups. Piece of cake. 1 pole, everything fits in my pole case.

Hope to have it out in mid April. Busy doing jobs every day and had unexpected company drop in for 4 days!

No, not yet and cannot wait until I do. I'm glad I got the PA debacle out of the way and can concentrate on making music. The 4X and QSC is a great combination (should've listened to you from the start) for my needs.

I'll try to take some pics of my job setup. I think it's pretty tidy and effective - just what I thought it would be, once figured out smile

I just wish I could have my last (3) jobs back, using the QSC - the DBRs were disaster (repackaged Stagepas, IMO).
