When you're in a hurry, something always, always goes wrong. Usually something simple. I don't know how many times ive run cable to speakers and left one end or the other unplugged, or turned one powered speaker on and got distracted by someone, then got started without turning the other on. When sound checking with others these things are more readily discovered..
