You can purchase a pre-paid 'gift' card at almost any store - Walmart, Target, super market, etc. Some come with a fixed dollar value, some you specify the amount you want on the card. There is usually a small fee attached to the purchase or activation of the card. You can then use it for on-line purchases.

As Tony stated they are prepaid cards with no attachments to any financial accounts. They can be purchased just about any store/supermarket. Some are limited to only US purchases. Some style, sheets music, backing tracks are outside of the US and require a worldwide card.

I’m still not sure I’m understanding. I called two banks, CVS, Barnes & Noble, Walmart, etc and they either don’t have any info on these cards…..or……they have preset gift cards. I know I read somewhere that you can buy a “temporary” debit card for the exact amount you need and then it evaporates never to be seen again.

So, in real life now, I want to purchase an item on Amazon or online somewhere. Theoretically the item is priced at $89.95. Now where do I go to purchase an $89.95 “(plus fees) temporary” debit card (and use the debit card # on the card)? I don't want to use a "gift card."

Thanks Tony........that's exactly, I mean EXACTLY, what I was looking for. I don't know how you found that but I'm glad you did. I made some calls from the info here and found that they have them at Walgreen's. That's the only store I DIDN'T call and that's where they stocked them. My first purchase was $56,712.32 (plus a transaction fee of $1,233.72).....I bought a boat for Gary.

I have to go back to my original question.

"Anyone have a legal site they are using to download music from a video.......BUT.......without having to download a software program first?"

Still can't find one anywhere!

Have you tried FREEMAKE VIDEO DOWNLOADER in combination with FREEMAKE VIDEO CONVERTOR ?
When installing do the custom installation and do NOT accept all the extras. I also use Freemake Audio Convertor but since a year or so have to pay 12 bucks for that one. All in all they do al the things that I want though.
Check out www.FREEMAKE.COM

I went to this site and downloaded these and Avast detected and stopped two malware. Uninstalling.

Tried to uninstall and said some components still there but can remove manually. Oh, good. What and where? frown
