Was feeling good on my way back from a 20 plus hour soundtrack session in Louisville. Had a little upset stomach on the way back, so I didn't stop for coffee, as I usually did.
When I tried to get out of my car, I has the most excruciating pain in my left side. I knew instantly it was diverticulitis.
I had a much less severe version years ago, only discovered during a scan for damage from a fall.

This is BAD! I'm on clear liquids and jello for a week, and a killer antibiotic. They say if the pain does not subside in a few days, I'll have to have surgery.

Left untreated, this can be fatal. Watch out folks, and head for help quick if you develop a severe pain in your left side.

 Russ

Hopefully, you can dodge the surgery bullet. Good luck, Russ, Gary
