Links..

I do like the Genos sound much better..
It sounds much more real and live..
Even tough the tyros player seems to be the more talented musician..

Not everybody Donny, but of course the Yammiefantasts did.
That said, watching the demoes etc., in my ears Genos is the best sounding Yamaha arranger so far.
When are you going to add one? wink

Bachus: I agree with your assessment.

Gary: I thought I could stick with the 970. But the more I hear the Genos...I’m getting Genos Fever.

Please tell me there’s an antidote! (Donny...it’s not the 4X either. That would be a placebo)

I was almost on the way to go for a PA4X-76 myself, but now I'm a bit unsure.
Waiting for St.Claus, maybe he's planning the route to slow down a bit in this area, who knows. confused cool

For a live performer, the pa4x still has more to offer then the Genos...

Iis a whole different concept then the Genos...

I think the difference between the Genos perfects for homeplayers, with easy acces and straight of the box concept is much more suited for homeplayers

Where pa4x with all its nifty real time features, perfect VH, and smaller formfactor..is much more suited for stage use...

Both sound great in a live environment, and i dont think many people will hear the difference between the 2 when used on stage... playing in a livingroom however might actually be a different story
