About 5 years ago we were having Easter Sunday dinner in a restaurant with a gift shop. The gift shop had a CD playing I asked what it was, it was Beegee Adair. I bought the CD some great tunes on it too.

No one in the world is a bigger fan of Beegie Adair than me. I’ve got many of her CDs. I use her songs during breaks all the time. They provide the perfect background for many of the gigs I play. She’s been in Nashville for years and has quite an impressive resume.

My Dad was a concert piano playing – who also played the pop music of his time. He tried to teach me how to play piano, but it did not work out. Father teaching his son is a no, no.

I have loved piano all my life, it is such a complete instrument. I took a few lessons but I was too busy making a living. My desire is still there.
My favorite Jazz piano player is Errol Garner. He was one of the few players that did not sound like he was playing scales and arps.
