It was a bit of a process downloading from the net then installing on my 4X. I actually thought I had done it wrong...but it worked! 😊

Gotta say...I'm impressed. What a great sound..love the new features.

It's great to get a new keyboard and not spend a dime. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Gotta say, every time I play my 4X, I'm a bit blown away by its wonderful sound quality.

The one thing that my 4X doesn't have, that I greatly miss, is the lush pedal steel guitar(Hawaiian sp? guitar on my s970)

https://youtu.be/22HMhgNi2Uk

I've found nothing on my 4X that comes close. There is a pedal steel in the guitar section of my 4X but it's pretty lame. And I haven't found a guitar in the 4X that I can simulate this sound..using joystick or whatever.

I'm guessing if I knew more about voice editing on my 4X, I could come close to the sound you hear on this video.

I like that sound too. I have one on the PA4X that I use that is pretty good, but different. Not in front of the kb right now, but I'll let you know tonight what it is.
You're right though, we should work on editing one.

Be sure and go ahead and load 2.0.1 after you do 2.0. It fixes a couple of small bugs that 2.0 introduced.

Tx all. Maybe this can be a group learning experience? I could use the help as I have never edited sounds...like, what is an oscillator? A sound generator?

You're right Don.

The alligators tail oscillates when it moves.

In any case, my 4X has a bunch of those oscillators. Not sure if that's where a person starts to generate or modify a sound?

πŸ˜‚ . Nice

An oscillator is the basic component of a sound or tone . Just substitute the word β€œtone β€œ instead of oscillator. You an select a guitar like an acoustic steel guitar as one tone . Then add an electric guitar as a second tone . Then you will need to play with the attack and amplitude to get closer to the pedal guitar sound .
