Hello, I am new to the MIDI world. I have a Roland E-86, and I was wondering how to add new sounds to it via the floppy drive. Do I need to format the disk a specific way? Is there PC software available for this task? What file type does the keyboard recognize?
Like I've said I am totally new so ANY input will be appreciated. Thanx.

Sorry to say, there is NO way to add sounds to your E86. You can edit and save changes to existing sounds, but the saples that are onboard are all you're going to get.
You can modify sounds internally and save them to registrations ... that might help bridge the gap for you.
