You can do just about anything with a style, then save it in Songbook. No matter how much you edit it in there, the original style remains untouched.

Are you sure about this George? The specs say the 900 has semi weighted keys. I'd love it if the keybed was a bit stiffer .... more 4xish

Mr. Dave..........thanks for taking the time to post the "comparison." So I guess the 1000 is the "poor man's PA4x." I was under the impression that it surpassed the 4x at 1/2 the price until I read what you posted. But I'm sure the styles are different and that might be the deal-breaker.

Dave,
I received a PA700 vs PA1000 comparison sheet from Korg USA. I am copying and pasting the exact wording below. If It doesn't have the semi weighted keys than they've made a typo, but I don't think so. I will know soon enough. I should receive my 1000 hopefully by the end of Sept or beginning of October

Thanks, I was thinking more pa700 vs pa1000... Yes, compared with Pa4x they should sound maybe a bit less "expensive", it is to be expected.

I did the same comparison years ago between Pa600-pa900-pa3x. And you're right.

Now the question is, the new pa700, with it's 4x increased memory, will it sound like to pa3x? smile That'd be already something. But that's a little bit of no sense question, as the sound difference between Pa600/Pa700 and Pa3x/Pa4x is also given by the final output converters. And probably the size of each sound sample.

I have my eyes on a PA1000 for sure.

From the videos It looks like the PA700 has rubber buttons..?? but cant quite tell whether the PA1000 is the same or not? can anyone confirm this?

Also does the PA 1000 have all the great electric guitar effects that are in the PA4x?

Thanks

Why would anyone not get a Pa1000 loaded with ALL the great NEW features vs a Pa700 except price, you dont want buyers remorse later on? If you can swing it try to get the Pa1000.
