"Doctor Doctor" by the Thompson Twins back in the '90s has some of the best synth sounds I have ever heard. Anyone have any idea how they got that unbelievable bass sound?

NVM, I see that the synth is a DSI Prophet. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get that rich, deep base sound...

It wouldn't have been a Dave Smith Instruments Prophet as Dave Smith didn't start making Prophet synths for many years after this song. It would have been a Prophet 5 back then but a DSI Prophet would be more than capable of recreating this sound. If you are using a digital keyboard only a sample of analog bass would recreate the sound. Otherwise perhaps think about adding a Dave Smith synth or module to your rig.
