Very informative. I never realized Willie was such an accomplished player. I often wondered why he never got a new guitar. I've always been jealous of guitar players. Invest in a really good instrument and it will last you a lifetime. Us keyboard, players ? "What's new this week?"

Brings up a,question. Does anyone here have a really old, instrument they still play ?

Up until last year I still played my 120 Hohner accordion from the 1940's, my father bought for me in 1952. It worked fine, but the straps started rotting away. I gave it to a needy lady that had talent, but no money.

I have an Austrian bass made in 1842, A 52 Gibson ES 295 (Scotty Moore Guitar), a 1964 Fender Jazz bass.

At home, i have a restored 1847 Edwin W. Powers stage piano. It's out of the local Opra House....73 notes, massive tone panel and wheels. Players used to sit on the thing and get pushed around stage.
