Just wondering what functions everyone has programmed on their footpedals..
Next to expression and damper, i have an EC5 connected to the pa4x, which i can set 5 functions to innthe global menu...
Currently i have start/stop style -- var up -- var down-- soundcontrl 1 -- soundctrl 2
These are the ones i use most.. sadly these are global settings, i would have prefered to be able to set different pedal settings with every performance in the songbook... soundcontrl 1 and 2 are used to controll DNC sounds... but what if there is no DNC sound, the pedals are not used.
So what have you setup to your pedals?

Two pedals. On most songs (registrations ala Yamaha): Pedal 1 is Sustain. Pedal 2 is Fill to Self On a registration when a "Glide" is needed such as Pedal Steel, Aloha Guitar, Trombone, etc, Pedal 1 is assigned to Glide. On registrations when vocal harmony needs to be turned on and off within the registration, Pedal 2 if Vocal Harmony. On many song registrations the two pedals often 4 (sometimes more) functions.
Then there are the jobs where less is more and the pedals stay in the gig bag. Eddie

Only 2 ... unless it's a rock band with a bass player. My go-to setup requires only RH sustain, and harmony on/off In a band situation, if I get to play organ, I need an expression pedal to be most comfy. About 80% of my musical life is solo, so .... 2 pedals please.

I use the EC5 for vocal harmony on/off, Break/fill, Sustain (for when I don't want to take an extra pedal), text down and intro one (that I often use for another break/fill).

I stand when I play, and too many pedals gets tiresome.. I also usually play full piano mode with styles and split bass/piano with drum play.. and with SMF play full keyboard.. I can select my assignable buttons with little effort... no different then selecting intro variation and ending buttons.

The woman uses the Pok wireless foot controller. Basically, it is a computer keyboard in the form of a foot controller. If I remember correctly, you can assign 36 functions. I use it with vArranger to change sounds or perform any function in vArranger.
