I just bought a Privia and need a gig bag. Is the Casio bag the best choice or are others more preferable?

Yes, I'm going to try using it as an arranger/SMF player too.

Casio bag is as good as you'll find. In fact, i'd use it for any keyboard that'd fit the bag.

Why did you choose the Casio px360 just for the SMF play? or.....
as you already have a S950 & Hammond XK?....

Well Donny, I bought the Privia because I love the keybed and the piano sounds. As you well know, the Yammy PSR pianos are passable but not great. Also, I have an older Kurzweil console in the house and it needs to go soon. I need/want at least another keyboard that I can play out. BTW, I sold the Hammond prior to buying the Privia. I tried rebuying an arranger module, but everything was sky high right now. I also bought a Ferrofish B4000+ last week, but returned it today - I really don't have any luck with modules, I guess.

So the Privia arrives in a couple days and I hope to take it for a spin next week.

Actually, 88 is not the reason. The reasons are sound, versatility, weight, and price. I've been in the market for something different than my s950. I've tried Korg and Roland and couldn't find anything I really liked OR could afford.

I don't know if the Privia will be as versatile as the Yamaha, but since I rely on a lot of midi files, I'm hoping I can continue to do that, play some styles and enjoy playing a nice piano.
