I was killing some time today..so I stopped in the music / pawn center.. where Uncle Dave sets up camp a few hours on Saturdays.
The past month or two I have been looking at stuff to buy (I don't need anything).. Searching you tube, and checking out keyboard controllers, synth workstations, sound systems...
Today Dave was showing an M1, DK600, DGX205, and a DW8000... nothing that I should entertain buying..
Then Dave said something ..unintentional... "You should beat the heck out of the EA7...it sounds great, good speakers, and more features then you need, and playable keys... Perfect for 1 hour gigs that you will most likely do now.... In fact the EA7 is the best purchase you made in 20 years.."
Now I may not agree it to be the best purchase in the last 20 years...but maybe bang for the buck...it could be..
1998 I had the Ketron X1, and G1000, 2007 the G70... All great keyboards..
What I have now G70 and EA7 covers all my keyboard needs..
And my collection of Cube 100's cover the sound system...
So I am going to try and not tease my self thinking I need anything new...
I will stick to my ice cream waffles...with strawberries..
Now let me see what Roland has up their sleeve..
