Didn't mean to hijack this thread but this kid is so amazing. Here he is at (of all places) the Country Music Awards. As you can see, EVERYONE can appreciate pure talent, regardless of genre'. Nice pair of stems on the vocalist, too smile.

I first heard of Joey in 2015 shortly after his release of "My Favorite Things," was amazed by this child. Great talent. Ditto on the vocalist!

Bernie you're an inspiration. My training was all on piano and I've let it go since getting involved in arrangers. But recently started back in half hour a day working that left hand, it's gotten real lazy just playing chords.

Also been watching Joey for a couple of years now ... When I first heard of him I wondered if he was related to Month Alexander ... apparently not ...
And yes, Kelsea is a cutie ...

What piano lessons would you suggest for an older ex-organist and pretty fair keyboardist. I would prefer a self taught method rather than live instruction. Left hand work is needed. I read bass clef, but slowly.

Bernie

I think alfreds has some good courses...

Just look up alfreds piano lessons..

Just need to find where to step in...

After that, there are quite a lot of piano recticals and etudes..

For those who don't know Dan - he's joking, of course. He's a fine singer, and he's the best at getting arrangers to sound more like contemporary bands, instead of the stereotypes of old. He does things on his SD1 that I'd never think would work ... but they do!
