I wrote this song for my sister a few years ago. It is recorded exactly as I performed it at her memorial service. I used my Korg PA 80 and Roland digital recorder. I just added this to my You Tube channel yesterday.

I generally NEVER comment on any music with religious connotations.

However, the voice quality is superb and the genuine sincerity of the effort is unquestioned.

So sorry for your loss. She was lucky to have such a caring brother.

All the best,

Russ Lay

Russ, thank you for making an exception. I am very very pleased that you listened and took the time to comment. I am going through some tough times lately. My health is not great. Your comments have made my day.

Wow! You're starting to sound a bit like John Denver. Just like good wine, you seem to be getting better as you age, Don.

All the best,

Gary cool

Wonderful Don! If you can touch that old heathen Russ, then you can touch anybody! smile
Actually Russ once told me than one of his favorite sounds was that of a young lady screaming Oh God, Oh God!

Thank you so much guys it is wonderful to hear your feedback on my original music..

Gary, John Denver was one of my influences for sure. Nice compliment, my friend.

Thanks for listening Harold. Your thoughts and prayers are welcomed.

Don, I am truly pleased to see Russ weigh in on this one.

God Bless you all,
Don

Recognizing talent is one thing. Appreciating compassion and character is quite another.

Don, you certainly deserve recognition for both.

Hope you feel better soon.
