Also keep in mind,sample directly read from memory like the Kronos, and no loops, that alone is worth it, I don't know how compatible it would be with the 1X but coming from the Pa800 it was very close.

Biggest thing about pa4x is it's editing capabilities. The sound is also a big improvement over older models. Plug it in a nice PA system and you will hear difference right away.

Like I said , I had upgraded my instrument using the golden entertainer expansion board which is a complete operating system update along with completely new samples from deebach . And that was a serious upgrade . So maybe I have been spoiled by the superiors sounds that came with this over the korg factory sounds ?
