Quiet nights recorded directly from the EA7 using the on board wave recorder, then resaved as an MP3 for SZ.

I decided not to record vocals, so we can hear the EA7 sounds.

I am still impressed with this keyboard...A street price of $1,299.

Poor man's PA4x....or is that a smart man's PA4x. smile

sounds good Fran.I am particularly impressed by the acoustic piano sound, considering the price of this board.
I am currently contemplating buying the new Roland FP-30 piano which retails here in Europe at 595 euros. But then of course I still have my PA800 and (for the time being) my ketron SD1plus.
Not sure if getting the EA-7 instead of the FP30 would be a wise move. Any views here ?

regards
John

So, you're saying it has a road-worthy, metal case, top notch vocal harmonizer, oodles of dedicated effects, dual song player/recorder, and real-time sliders for fast control? Wow - that IS a bargain!

He definately said a poor mans pa4x.... which does not mean the same as a full pa4x competitor.... keep in mind it comes at 1/3th the price of the pa4x...

LOL - I actually played it today (Fran stopped by) It's a great little axe, if you can buddy up to the smaller keys. (They're short) It's attractive, good solid sound form the speakers ... nice mid-level piece, with top level sounds.
