Using the first two variations I find that a piano accomp in the lower manual is one octave low. It needs to be raised one octave but I do
not know how to do this.

Can someone tell me if it is possible to raise a accomp. piano up
one octave so it sounds in the correct range?
This would make it sound so much better. Plese help if you have
knowledge to do this. Thanks in advance. Lloyd rocker

Yes,you can easly change the octave of a style part.
Look in style edit.
Roland uses make up tools..select the part, change the octave.
Don't forget..you need to save the style.

Lloyd, page 213 in the manual.
Turn on the range button for the part, and set the wrap around with the knob.
Not quite as good as Roland make up tools.

Hi Lloyd,
don't think there is an easy way of doing it, short of transposing the style tracks in style edit mode. (Not all that difficult, really).
If there is an easier, way, luv to know how, also.

For an easy way of checking what it would sound like , try option below.
(Do it with a copy of the original style.)
Unfortunately , the method I used is for the raising the piano sound ( not the track) by an octave , affects the piano in the whole style , not just the 2 variations, but it will (I think) give you a rough idea.

Style play mode,
Choose ( hilight)accompaniment part ie acc1 piano

Menu button
Mixer Tuning
Tuning
Raise the octave +1.

Just press start and try it with the chords.

If you want to edit the style, I can take you thru the process.
