So, as most of you know. Don Buchla passed away on Sept. 16 2016. Another, great synth pioneer. His instruments, were quite different from Moog's. In that he used metal touch plates, instead of a conventional piano, style keyboard. As he felt the touch pads would give more control over sound. Than a traditional keyboard.

He did design on synth that did use a conventional keyboard, but it never really caught on for fans of his synths.

I never played nor could I afford his synths, be he was a very unique man.

You will be missed Don.

That is very sad news. Don will be missed. He truly was a synthesizer pioneer.
