Darn,
I have a torn Rotator Cuff and have to have surgery to fix it. Has been hurting me since December and never got better - worse in fact. Doctors will do the surgery on April 12th. Oh well, you what they say about growing old - not for sissies.

Deane, get well, and help me make the decision to fix mine. I chose not to get the surgery, but to stand the pain, because the surgeon said there would be a chance that I would lose speed in my right hand.

I trust you made the right decision, and hope it (the surgery) will do the trick.

Get well soon... Good luck Dean. I had surgery two weeks ago still a bit sore... It's not fun but necessary. ... Hang in there!!

Best of luck my wife and other friends have had the surgery, I'm sure you'll passs with flying colors. Wishing you the best!!

Deane, I sincerely hope the surgery is successful, and it's a very common procedure these days, so it should go well.

Keep in mind that the recovery process is somewhat long with this procedure and the only way to screw things up is to not complete the physical therapy after the surgery. Figure on at least three months of non-lifting and about the same time for the physical therapy.
