Mic was Sennheiser E945, hard to beat. I got the Shure yesterday, Sunday, haven't tried it yet. Probably won't like it, but these four and five hour nights are giving me some neck problems. Thought the headset might help if I use it occasionally.

I hear ya Don.... I tried a few also but just couldn't cozy up to a head set mic myself for vocals, the feel, the look, wasn't MY cup of tea.... but I sure do love my Shure GLX D24 Mic system & EV ND767.

I just tried the mic with my PA3X. It actually sounds really good, and is more comfortable to wear than the Crown was. I can't use it directly with the S970 because the Yamaha doesn't have phantom power, but I can run it into the Harmony M, or into my mixer. If the rain lets up I'll bring in the S970 setup from my vehicle and try it later.
