Thats an expensive musicreader...

About 10 years ago I purchased Music Pad Pro for $1099, all it did was read proprietary music sheets that had to be converted from pdf. I'm not saying the iPad Pro is inexpensive but $799 for the 32 gig multi-function iPad Pro versus $1099 for just a music reader is a better deal.

I have an iPad Air. I mostly use for surfing the net.

I would like to connect my iPad directly to my PSR S970 to transfer lyrics as txt files etc. I don't know if this can be done or not.

Currently, if I need to get something on my S970, I end up copying it to a thumb drive from my computer and putting it on my S970.

So, is there any way to transfer files between my iPad and my S970?

Thats not exactly what i meant... An ipad pro can do so many things for you, that its almost a shame to only use it as a musicreader ( even tough its probably the best musicreadr in the world...
