Sugar beets are a big part of the fall harvest in this area. It takes a lot of people for this roughly three week harvest.

So, I, like a lot of others, take time off from our regular jobs to help out. So, for the past three weeks, my music business was on hold. A few of my regular customers didn't get their monthly music show.

Yet no one seems to mind too much as everyone around here knows how important, to the economy, this is.

Best part for me, I get to run a Bobcat skid steer loader. It's probably the most fun(next to my music) that I have since I was a kid playing in a sandbox.

It also doesn't hurt that I make A LOT more money doing this than music.
