Tony,
It was 1962 - I was in Brooklyn with the Navy. Use to go to times square and watch Brubeck at a small bar - don't remember the name of the place. Phil Woods was the sax player then. Great player and really glad I got to hear him live.

Deanne ... I have been fortunate enough to have heard him live a number of times, including once outside of Boston when I was sitting close enough to out my feet on the stage - which of course I did not do ...
