Well today I will take the SD7 on it's Maiden Voyage the Sun is out..
Will report back later with my experiences. It was supposed to happen yesterday but when I got there to a NH 1hr outside BBQ it was raining,...so not to take a chance to get my SD7 Wet I ended up just DJ'ing & Singing with my gear under an Umbrella Picnic Table to be safe, glad I did last 10 minutes the skies opened big time and everyone had to make a run for it, including the nurses, aides, staff, and wheelchair residents!!!..

One of my regulars came up last night and told me that he had thought my sound was great and didn't see how it could get better, but that I must have done something that did just that, because it sounded like a live band was playing.
Of course, that is what I'm after, so seems like I'm on the way.
But he may have been drunk. smile

I felt bad for them,....we were having such a great time up to that point they deserve it, ...... I'm happy to be able to bring a smile to their faces each time I perform.

ok I just got back from my SD7 maiden voyage,...the gig went well.
It was a bit different feeling coming from 2 years of S950 to the SD7. I guess not knowing what to expect when you hit certain buttons variations etc, for the first time gives you teh jitters,..
But, after the first few songs I started to get in the pocket and felt more confident making changes as I went along. There are some things I still need to work out in the KB settings to really get it to where I'm comfortable. But it sounds great and the audience loved it including the Vocal processor & VH. Using sliders is something to get used to also as is the registration scrolling thru songs which is easy just different,..I compare it to buying a new car, although you know how to drive things are in different places. The Mp3 players works great also. So it's back to tweaking things here & there and I'm sure over time it will work out with patience.
Thanx for listening.... Stay tuned. keys
