Hi Guy's

I installed Windows 10 yesterday and finger's crossed no problems up to now. Just couple of points you have to re-input all your passwords for any sites you use and the other thing was I had to re-Licence my copy of Cubase before I could use it. Other that it was a fairly painless exercise. For windows 7 users there are a lot of similarity's so the new system is not to difficult to get to grips with. It took a while to find the program listings, they are accessed via the new start button at the bottom left of the screen along with the power on/off icon.

Regards

Col

Maxthon browser has been working great for me in the past few years. It saves passwords and settings on their server, and syncs them across multiple computers. Super fast, convenient, and feature-rich.

I bought a Windows 10 computer yesterday and returned it today.
Half Windows 7 and half Windows 8 with a lot of worthless junk
thrown in. Microsoft doesn't know how to make a good OS. Lloyd

WOW! You learnt everything about Windows 10 in a day, you must be able to pick up any manufactures arranger and gig with it 5 minutes after opening the box.

Bill, from what I've learned about Windows 10, it's kinda like Windows 7, but a bit faster with very few additions. That's why I'm probably going to stick with Windows 7.

All the best,

Gary cool

I loaded up Windows 10.

On start up it gives you the choice of logging in to Windows 7 or 10.

HI Quitpic1

You have created a dual boot system not upgraded your previous OS, as otherwise you would not have this option. (Unless you were already running a Dual boot system with 2 instances of a previous OS)

With the dual boot system check to see if Windows 10 has activated (Unless you already ran a dual boot system), as the free upgrade is not really designed for this.

you can always go to settings>security>recovery> and go back to WIN7 again within a month of installing Win10 if you don't like it.
