Hello,
I have a technics kn7000 and lots off software. I would like to buy a kn2600 but I wonder if the software from the kn6000/7000 will work on the kn2600.

I saw this deal: http://www.turnkey.co.uk/tkweb/stockdetail.jsp?sku=TECH-SXKN2600&context=WEB
299.99 English Pounds for the kn2600. This is unbelievable...but can I trust it ??

Thanks a lot and greetings from Belgium
Alain

I think you can trust the price, it looks like a trustworthy webshop.
But why will you add a KN2600, because the KN7000 are the "RollsRoyce"?
Oh, I see, maybe the kids or grandkids would like to have one too.

Hello Jonny,

Thanks for the reply.

I just need a second keyboard to play on a different place . I use the kn7000 at home and I need a second keyboard to play sometimes when I have sparetime at work.
The keyboard has to be easy to transport...so I think this isn't a problem.

Greeting
Alain

Hi Alain,
for the purpose you describe it is a good choice. You can prepare all work at home on the 7000, save to SD, and play back on the transportable 2600, including audio tracks. The 2600 has equalisation in the same way, so you can tweak the sound or balance for any external monitors you have. The 2600 sounds are similar to the 7000 sounds, you just have to remember not to use any of the 7k soundcard sounds in the setup, or those sounds in the 7000 explorer that do not appear on the 2600, then there will be no surprises on playback!

Hello,
Just received my technics kn2600 (EU) today from www.thomann.de for 590 euro. This was a very good deal.
The keyboard is very good. It reads all my software from my tehnics kn7000 without any problem.

Greetings ,
Alain

That's right Bill, I miss this forum, there are features on the 7000 that I still miss on my Tyros, but I don't regret changing!!! Walter
