Hello All,

On KN 7000:

How will I save all the custome styles (20 styles) that I have from floppy disk into a SD card?

Do I save it in the format of Folder and song?

Can I save it in the same format as it is saved on the floppy disk?

When Saving a song on a folosed and in a song file, doesn't it save also all the entire current setting including the custome?

many thanks,
Doron Peisic

Doron,

Go to page 2 of Save and select "Custom".

Hello, Doron!

Go: SD(the big yellow button)>SAVE>TECHNICS FORMAT>push FOLDER RENAME(if you want to store your 20 custom styles in a separate folder)>enter name for folder>push OK>push SONG NAMING(assign a name to that set of
of custom styles)>push OK>PAGE 2(top button at lower rightjust outside display)>ALL OFF(lower right corner of display>ALL CUSTOM STYLE (lower right item ON display>YES>SAVE.

This will put your set of twenty custom styles in to a folder on your SD card with
the folder name you have assigned and the styles under the song name you chose. For example your folder might be named "Custom
Styles" and your "song" named "Swing Styles". Future sets of custom styles can be added to the same folder under another
name. The saved custom style set can now be loaded separately into any keyboard song or set-up file without disturbing it.

You may find the above procedure useful should you also decide to build and store collections of Performance Pads, Composer Files(in Rhythm Group Memory) or Sound Sets
(in Sound Group Memory).

Answers to your next questions:

--The file when saved to your SD card will be in the SD/KN7000 format.

--The normal "Performance" save or load on the KN7000 does not move the "Custom
Files". These are large files and in the interst of loading speed are processed on page 2 of the SD Save menu.

Thank you all for the prompt help! I am very excited as I just received a floppy disk with 3 set ( 20 each) of custom styles from England. I got it on the ebay. (according to the paper that came with it, Technics used these rhytem in their demo in the show trade) it is quit facinating.

I want to save it on the SD as it is faster to load it.

Many wishes,

Dear all,

I did go to page two and I saw that custome option has _ _ _ _ lines. I tries to change it with the custom botton switch but it does not change the Lines to no or yes. Any thoughts?
