Gary, I agree with Don. Get yourself a big ass motorboat and go real slow. Seriously, I hope everything is good news for you.

Cass, that big-ass sailboat I have goes fairly slow, no bouncing around or rocking unless the seas get to 6 feet or more, easy to sail, and no lifting. Now, I have to hoist the main sail, but that does not involve lifting - just pulling straight down on a halyard, which is the opposite of lifting.

The toughest thing I do every day is unload and load the equipment from the van and set it up. Nothing is really heavy, but the keyboard, in the case, tips the scales at about 35 pounds, and it is somewhat bulky. Then, after an hour of sitting in the chair and performing, the compression of the herniated discs make my legs stop functioning. It usually takes about two to four minutes after getting up from the stool before the damned legs act like they should, plus the back pain is sometimes to the point of excruciating. Unfortunately, I cannot take a morphine pill until I get home - just too dangerous.

Hopefully, the surgeon I visit with on Wednesday can provide some light at the end of the tunnel - I sure could use it.

Until then, booze and drugs are the only option. I like the booze, but the drugs suck! wink

I have to say that the Pa900 is a fantastic arranger keyboard. At this time in my life I have no desire to learn a new OS or go thru and setup another keyboard. I would have to say that my limited experience with the 900 tells me it is equally as good as the s950 and probably a couple other current boards out there. It IS great that there are choices to suit many preferences. Some need a monster board, some can get by with small master keyboard. Most of us seem to settle for the MOTL boards because of their value and flexibility. I am so happy that we no longer have those stupid pissing contests we used to have about which board is better. They're all better, especially in the right hands...

Gary,

Get yourself a Teeter inversion table. They build them over there. Then hang from your ankles twice a day, 15 min at a time. DON'T let them cut you. You'll regret after a year or so...

I had one - it didn't do me any good, but sure cost me a lot of money back then.
