When choosing a digital piano, even for starting players, the keybed feel is extremely important... It should be as close to the real thing as possible...

kawai currently excells at this...

Yes, they do and allways have, tough at this moment the action of the kawai pianos really shines and even outperforms rolands action on the RD800

I wasn't trying to compare a $500 piano to a $2500 piano. I only posted it because 1. it was new 2. it was super lightweight for a 88 note, weighted keybed board, and 3. because the price was so low. The fact that it is available in weighted and semi-weighted is a plus as some non-pianists prefer a lighter touch.

Whether it's worth anything depends mostly on how it sounds and to that I haven't a clue.
