When I do master EQ on #1-5 in the mixing console, does that affect all four line out jacks? By that I mean, there are two line outs that go to the PA(stereo L/R and R) and two other line outs for whatever else.

Are all 4 line outs EQ'd then according to what I set? Or is just the L/R and R jacks that are affected?

Tx

Rog, I found this in the Tyros4's Reference Manual on Page 114:

"Only the DSP2–9 and Vocal Harmony effects can be applied to the sound output from the SUB jacks. Other effects (Reverb, Chorus and DSP1) will not be applied.

If the “Connection” parameter of the DSP1 is set to “Insertion”, the DSP1 will also be applied."

As far as I know, you can select what parts you want going out to the Sub Outs by pressing MIXING CONSOLE and tab over to LINE OUT. There you can select what parts go where.

I really hope this helps as I haven't needed to use the Sub Outs so far.

Gary, Ian,

Thanks for the help. I understand somewhat how the DSP is restricted.

What I was more specifically after is if all four jacks out are subject to the EQ'ing(low, low-mid, mid, mid high & high) frequency adjustments.

But I think I've got the answer just by what info you two have provided.

Tx again.

Gary,

I can't remember. Does the S950 have four output jacks?

No, just two outputs.
