I've been performing for seniors for 16 years. As my audiences are from a younger generation, I am doing a little less big band and swing music and more '50's and early '60's.
A lot of the teen idol songs of the '50's and early '60's were 6/8. Yamaha provides dozens of big band and swing styles, but only several 6/8 styles. I'd like to cover a lot of material without sounding monotonous. Any suggestions?

Larry, I've sent you a Zipped folder via your email. None are Premium styles (i.e. copyright), but are my edits/re-assembly of the factory ones in the Tyros4 and perhaps other Yamaha arrangers.

There are only 10...I wish I had more, but they are the ones I always use.

I hope they work okay...you may need to change OTS.

Ian

PS...most, if not all, have the fancy intros and endings edited out, but you can play chords over the ones I replaced them with.

Larry, go to the styles section of the PSR Tutorial site. You can download thousands of them, many of which have song specific intros and endings.

Good Luck,

Gary cool
