Suddenly I see this GREEN Lock on my URL addresses as shown in picture......and its on most websites now "NOT ALL"......
it will not allow me now to copy & paste an URL address now
if I clik on the lock it says "identity verified"?

what is going on and how can I correct it ASAP?

It simply means you are on a safe, legitimate web site.

Now if I copy from the www.---------- it will cop/paste....

But If you include the Green Lock in the URL it will now.

Geez Don, you had to go and tell him.

DNJ the "s" in https usually means it's a secure site. If you do any on line banking or anything with a financial institution you should see the "s" .

Steve ... I think Donny is referring to the 'green lock' in the URL ... I have a lock in the URL on my GOOGLE page, but it is not green - does it make a difference?

OK ... I just went to a number of different sites and saw a 'green lock' on a couple: a STAPLES rebate site; the Paypal site, and another that had to do with payments of some kind ...

but if you copy the URL just from the www.------------------.com etc, ONLY you can paste..
