I am trying to get a set up with split piano with no automatic accomp. No problem except I would like less sustain on auto chord, which I want, without turning the Auto Chord button off.

Bernie, are you talking about Technichord when you mention Auto Chord? Not sure I fully understand your objective. Are you talking about sustain with the piano voice harmony notes?

Hi Bob
I guess I was not clear.
I am referring to Chord Part: Program/Sound/Part Setting/Chord. At least I think that is where the sustain is coming from.
I am trying to achieve some low end to a split piano while leading a band while the piano player is out. I could use full piano, but the left hand inversions needed is unnatural for an old organ player. I don't play left hand bass.
The split with chord bass is as close as I can get as the bass follows the chord.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
Bernie

Bernie, I think I understand what you want, but I'm not sure I have the answer. If you go to the APC Mode button I think you will find that the memory setting is on. Turn it off and see if that solves the problem. The voice will stop when you lift your left hand chord with memory off.
If you only want the bass note to sound, go to Part Setting and reduce the chord voice volume to zero. You should then get only the bass note for the chord you play with your left hand.
