Just been on the Wersi (Music Store) site and clicking on the US Flag now switches the site to make it suitable for the US market. (Also interesting how some parts of it link to Wersi Direct)

http://www.wersi.net/index_en.html

The original US Site has also been updated. (Still needs some work though)

Enjoy

Bill

Wersi is not very interested in the USA. A dealer had one hell of a time staying as a dealer when Wersi changed hands. Orders for the USA take forever to complete. Sad because sales could
multiply if service was adequate. Lloyd

Wersi may not have been interested, but it looks like Music Store is, (Wersi is just a brand name that Music Store owns these days) as otherwise they wouldn’t have exhibited at NAMM 2014. (Let’s face it a booth at NAMM can hardly be cheap, so I can’t see them spending money on one if they weren’t interested in the US market)

Still like all things we will have to wait and see.

I think it's the other way around. At least in my area ... it doesn't seem like the USA is interested in Wersi. I have only seen ONE in operation in my 59 years, and that was a home user who bought a kit and built it himself. It was grossly overpriced and very dated, very fast.
To be honest - I never even read the Wesi posts because they simply don't apply to the people I know.

I rented my B3 to Ethel Smith to play a concert in Palm beach around 1969. In talking to her, Tico Tico of coarse came up and she said she was sick and tired of it then.

Money rules, however, and she said she would play it anyway.

Wersi (Music Store) only do wood finish to special order, the normal is Piano Black or Pearl White.

Difficult to say what will be around in 10-20 years, but one thing is pretty certain, Arranger Keyboards will also be long since dead probably replaced by something that hasn’t been thought of yet.

As to manufactures who knows what the future brings. (Who thought Technics would disappear)
