I have noticed looking at different videos, pictures, etc of arranger players and it amazes me how HIGH they sit in the seat when playing. personally I could NEVER sit that high.
For me I Like to sit very low with my Arms & Thighs perfectly Horizontal, NOT angled down toward the keys in any way.
I guess it's a personal comfort thing ....works for me especially after 4 hrs in the saddle. cool2

Donny, ... yes, obviously it is a personal comfort thing ... I prefer to be higher ... my stand and 'throne' are set quite a bit higher than yours ... also I prefer the 'look' more ...
But it's all personal preference ...no right or wrong - except for the 'ergonomics' ... wink keys

BTW ... that's a pretty 'dressed up' crowd for an afternoon gig ...

Nice to see you and the Bose Compact prior to the breakup.

I seldom sit...especially if at floor level. Don't know why really...just what I've been doing since forever.

Too low for me as well - Love my seat. It puts me at the perfect height to have eye contact with my ladies. wink

Tony, I believe the height of the seat is 30 inches, and mine is fully adjustable. I'm usually just about six inches shorter than standing height, depending on how I adjust it - you'll get to try it out next month.

Gary cool
