Trying to come up with alternative to T5 - 76 since cost may now be a factor...

What I'd like to do in this case is use the PSRS950 but with an 76 or 88 key controller as the master but also use the MFC10 to control the variation switching, fills and breaks among others.

I'm figuring the controller can be connected to the MIDI in and setup transmission from controller and receive on PSR to lower channels 1 - 3. Connecting the MFC10 to the in of the controller transmitting on channel 16 and on the PSR receive this on 16...wondering if this would work??

I know the PSRS950 does not have the MFC10 options like Tyros does but found some info about manually programming it to trigger features which may help. It's the issue that PSR only has one MIDI In and Out. Also added in mix would be an iPad running Repertoire Finder either connected via WiFi or via USB.

I'd go for T4 but used are still out of range right now.
