Thanx Steve......It's working out good this way on stage, & easy to set up'....it's super sturdy also,.....I still need to make some minor adjustments like lowering the LT just a few inches easily achieved by drilling another hole in the mounting pole. And for back up I still have my K&M spider stand pro & Apex Pro Kb stands.....

Like others here I have used music stands, specialized holders, and anything else that looked efficient. I now use an iPad Air with The GigEasy Universal holder which is built for a mic stand. What I am going to do is visit a welding shop and see if that can custom fit a metal holder which can be attached to my X-stand and will allow me to position the iPad in the center of the keyboard. Hopefully it could be made of aluminum for lightness and be really easy to attach to and remove from the X-stand. So far I have not found anything like I want. Deane

Deane Deane many time in my setups I had to go to a metal shop to get just what I need custom made for my needs...here is a rough sketch of what I think your talking about using a welded L shaped holder..?
