I don't believe this link was posted before...if it was, my apologies ahead of time.

This site has chord charts (that can be transposed) for a great many tunes and jazz standards.

http://www.jazzstudies.us/

I hope it will be useful to some here.

No problem Donny...I guess I missed it...maybe some others did as well.

Looks like a good resource all the same.

Possibly...I sequestered myself and found inner peace and contentment.

Some of those chord charts are very interesting, indeed...I'm going to enjoy working through them.

Thank you Ian

I must have missed it the first time around, although they may prove to be a little complicated for us lesser mortals LOL

You are right, Col...they are a tad exotic, I guess, but I like a good challenge, and those kind of neat chords really give a nice twist to a tune.

I sometimes try and use alternate chords in a song, but I don't believe in messing with the melody.

New chords can often enhance the mood of a tune, and when you are doing only instrumentals like I do, there are no lyrics to provide variety, so I try to get it in other ways.

Has anyone D/L the iGIGbook music manager, and do you need an iPOD to use it ...

Unfortunately, I looked at the chords for 'Blue Bossa' and they were the same as what is in my Real Book ... I was hoping for some chord substitutions ...
