Never had a shot - never had the flu.

Me neither...never had a flu shot. Never got the flu, and, if I ever did have it, it was probably while I was still drinking and drugging, and that was more than 30 years ago.

I don't want anyone, including a Doctor, deliberately infecting me with any kind of sickness.

I tend to take a bit more vitamin C during the flu seasons, and I always carry Hand Sanitizer and use it often, especially at grocery store or other public places.

Two people in my building had flu shots, and both ended up with the flu a month later, and both had relapses...one ended up hospitalized. These ladies were both in their 50's and in otherwise good health.

Yup ... I get my vitamins and antibodies from nutritious meals! No one's gonna put that sick junk in me, either, Ian!

Well I haven't had one either, but the serum they use now does not have the flu virus in it, like the early ones did.
Thing is, the shot only protects against one strain, usually the most prevalent one, so it's easy to still get the flu after you had a shot, and then it's only natural to blame it on taking the shot.
If someone gives me the flu, I'll rub my staph infected skin on them!
Really though, if it's out there my grandson is going to bring it home!

Never had a flu shot, never had the flu. I worked in two of the nations largest hospitals for 15 years, exposed to some of the most contagious diseases anyone can imagine, TB, flu, staph, you name it, and never contracted any of them. And of all the health care professionals I know, which is hundreds, none of them get the flu or pneumonia shots. Most of the flu vaccines are for influenza that occurred two to three years ago. Wonderful!

All the Nursing Homes and Homes for Special Care in my area are restricting visitors as a precaution, especially regarding patients/residents with weakened immune systems.

One of the best preventatives is washing your hands often, or using a hand sanitizer.
