Hi folks,
I've never had the opportunity to play a Ketron for any length of time, and the manuals I found on the web lack the usual detailed information. Therefore I appeal to this community for help.

When Chord Mode = Easy 1, which of the following combinations are true? (If I'm wrong about my guess, please post the chord indicated by the arranger):

Two-note combinations
---------------------
C2 + C#2 = C#maj7 = C#+F+G#+C
C2 + D2 = D7 = D+F#+A+C
C2 + E2 = Eaug = E+G#+C
C2 + F2 = Csus4 = C+F+G
C2 + Gb2 = Cdim = C+Eb+Gb
C2 + G2 = C[1+5] = C+G
C2 + G#2 = Caug = C+E+G#
C2 + A2 = Am = A+C+E
C2 + B2 = Cmaj7 = C+E+G+B
C2 + C3 = C[1+8] = C+C'

Three-note combinations
-----------------------
C2 + C#2 + E2 = C#mM7 = C#+E+G#+C
C2 + D2 + Eb2 = Cm9 = C+D+Eb+G
C2 + D2 + E2 = C(add9) = C+D+E+G
C2 + D2 + F2 = Dm7 = D+F+A+C
C2 + E2 + A2 = C6 = C+E+G+A
C2 + G2 + A2 = Am7 = A+C+E+G

Thanks so much for your help, sincerely,
Ted

Thanks AJ, I really appreciate you taking the time to try these combos and post results.

Another question... is there an "Ajamsonic" upgrade for the SD5 and SD3? I know there is a kit to convert the floppy drive to USB, but I'm wondering about updated OS with added features and content.

Finally, what was Ketron's most fully-featured arranger module prior to the SD3?
Thanks again,
Ted

Teds,

For the SD5 and SD3 - not really (apart from styles). The only other kit is the USB SD kit which allows you to playback MP3 and Wave files (AUDIO) in addition to Midi files and transfer of data with USB and SD cards.

Thanks,
