My apologies to all you Country Guy's I just had to have a go, tears and all.

Please excuse the Anglo-American accent smile

Col,

I must say, your voice, and therefore your music, sounds much more "natural", letting the listener hear "you" and not mainly effects.

You have great pitch, a pleasant sounding voice, and your word pronunciation is spot on...all important to a singer, especially in Country music, which depends so much on the lyrics and the message. I've always thought the definition of "Country music" as "three chords and the truth" was pretty accurate, and this song was written when Country was still "Country".

In any case, you certainly have no reason to disguise your voice with effects.

Great work on one of Country music's finest ballads.

Ian

Sure is Fran, does it sound OK to you?

Suits me just fine now I haven't got to move it, well, only on the odd occasion.

Thank you Donny and Ian, who said you can't teach an old dog new trick's, seriously much of the improvement is after getting a bashing from you guy's for which I am eternally grateful.

Col

Hi, Col.

I can't disagree with the others. A beautiful job on a classic country tune. One straight out of my childhood, too. clap

Thanks for the music (and the memories),
Dan

Thanks' Dan much appreciated.

Tony: The old thing sounds OK to me but my ears aren't what they used to be. Apart from that it holding down the Lodge in all these high winds we're getting.

Donny: Please stop posting Mr Jackson and Mr Jones I don't need the competition. I can cope with Don and Gary but those two, well, It just ain't fair. mad
