Hey what can you all tell me about this mike I found in my house? Its about 20 years old.
Its a superscope by marantz EC-33S One-Point
Bidirectional electrical condenser stereo microphone.

It was originally used to record an oboe player.

This mike is so unpopular I cant find anything on it, marantz was very big into home audio and probably still is, they distribute a line of Audio visual equipment . Very likely a consumer mike of the electret sort or a lower end recording mike.If the mike has XLR connectors it might be worth something,a lot of companies produced lower end stereo mikes that were basically just two cheap pickups mounted into one body and were useful for some broadcasting and lo fi PA setups.
